UPDATE STUFF! We have 18 members and 373 pageviews at the end of week 4(We had over 100 pageviews in one week dudes!). We're now averaging around 4 members per week... roughly around there, it is really 4.25, but you can't have a .25 of a person... so yeah. XD

Mission Statement

No, this is not a fanclub for plants. Sure, I love plants as much as the next person, but that is totally not the point of this little club here. No, this fan club is devoted to a dog from the anime Ginga Densetsu Weed. I'm not sure if there is a fan club specifically for Weed... so I wanted to create one. As you may have gathered if you have never seen the show, Weed is the main character of that series, which is the sequel to the series Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. He is the son of Gin, the 'former' leader of the dog paradise of Ohu. Chances are, if you are still reading this, you have seen the show.

Why do I bother creating this when there are already so many clubs for the fans of the show? Well, the answer is simple really. For some reason beyond my personal comprehension, Weed is a fairly disliked character by the general masses. He is often spoken of as 'soft', and called a 'sissy'. Many people condemn him for allowing Hougen to live during the last episode of the series. They claim that Gin should have remained the leader, and that Weed is a horrendous leader, one that hardly knows what he is doing.

I'd love to hear someone try and hold their own in argument about that really. Seriously, I think this argument that condemns Weed to being stupid and weak is quite frankly pathetic. For those who agree with me, that is precisely why I created this club. Weed is not the defenseless little sissy that everyone claims he is. He shows compassion, and acts boldly for others. He goes to great lengths to keep his allies safe, and tries to act in their interests. If there be some degree of iniquity or stupidity in this, then let it be said that I do not agree with it.


Joining

There is one simple requirement to be a member of this group, you just have to like Weed. Yes, it is that easy. He doesn't have to be your favorite, you can think any old random dog should be the true leader of the paradise of Ohu. This group is solely committed to the purpose of showing veneration for this far too often overlooked and hated character. It is for those who wish that such prejudice and hatred did not exist. It is for those who believe that such a dislike contradicts the very theme of this show(which it does).

Joining is easy, you can send a note to this account, you can leave a message here... you can even email this account. If I get your message, you'll be accepted. No one will ever be denied membership, you have my guarantee. You can also leave a message, send a note, or email ~TroutFuz, as I own that account as well. Again, no one will ever be denied membership. Your message can be as simple or complex as you wish. I'll interpret it somehow.

Gallery Submission Policy

The gallery of this account will be used to display the artwork of those who have joined this club's membership to other members. Any and all artwork of the cartoon character, or relating to Weed will be submitted without question if presented. Writing is considered artwork in my eyes. Do you have a fan fic? Yes, I will submit those too if you should ask.

Exclusions Policy on Gallery Submissions:

-I do not submit artwork of Weed in OC pairings, or with OCs in them as a result of copyright complications. For example... if you ever wrote a story or something, and I gave the club to someone else and your art was posted here, I could technically possess your story, or part of profits because I own a partial copyright on the character. I would not do this, but someone else may. Therefore, I cannot allow it to happen. I am sorry for any inconvenience or displeasure this may cause. I am trying to save you as the artist from a troublesome legal issue should your character ideas ever progress farther than an OC based on GDW.
